Andaman White Beach Resort: a potential piece of heaven for someArriving at the Andaman White Beach Resort in Phuket is like arriving at a film set, because it is (or was). This stunning location was featured in both ‘The Beach’ and ‘The Quest’.
Just to the north of Bang Tao beach and around 25 minutes to the south of Phuket Airport , the hotel is set in a secluded location surrounded by rubber plantations and coconut groves. The hotel is built on the side of a hill overlooking the white sands of Nai Thorn Beach. 
There is a choice of accommodation: those who prefer sea views can choose the Deluxe Rooms (pictured) while those who like the idea of a beach location, amidst coconut trees can choose the Beach front villas. There are also some suites available. For families there are the Duplex Suites, which comprise: a master bedroom with balcony overlooking the beach and an adjacent bedroom (no balcony) for the children. The two rooms are connected via an indoor covered, private staircase. I have to say though that there is limited entertainment so this will only suit those families which can entertain themselves. You should also bear in mind that the seclusion which is perfect for some is also a restriction for others. You are very much dependent on the hotel’s shuttle service and local taxis. The shops and restaurants of Patong are around 30/40 minutes to the south. I would have to recommend the Andaman White Beach Resort to those who are really looking for an out-of-the-way location.
