Bel Air Panwa
Phuket Apartment Development

If you are looking for a Phuket Apartment to rent a buy, here is a good place to start.

Bel Air Panwa Panorama

Cape Panwa on the south-east tip of Phuket has been popular with visitors for many years. It is secluded yet just 10 minutes or so from Phuket Town; and has fabulous views across the Andaman Sea.

The developer, the Watson Property Group from Perth Australia, had both the local and overseas market in mind when they put the project together.

There are a total of 87 two and 3-bedroom condominium units with the sizes ranging from 106 m2 to 215 m2. Following a model that has become popular in Europe and the States, the luxury apartments are set within a gated, secure estate that includes two large swimming pools, a fitness centre, reception area, coffee shop, jacuzzi, sauna, steam and games rooms.

The development comprises three sections:

• Condominiums with sea views in buildings Kraburi and Saiburi
• Condominiums with sea views terraced in building Longlom
• Condominiums with pool views in buildings Tapi and Khirirat

The following artist impressions will give you an idea of what the development will look like when it is finished in around December 2006.

As I have mentioned elsewhere on this site, I am no property expert but it does look like a project worth investigating. From what little I do know about the market, the bargains in Phuket have long gone but with prices for the apartments between Baht 3.9 million and Baht 12.5 million, it could appeal to those looking to retire here or maybe have a holiday home on the island.

If you are not in the market for an overseas property but would consider renting an apartment here then please keep in touch. I'll let you know when they are ready.

I believe that both the supply and demand for a Phuket apartment will grow but, if purchasing might be an option for you, you must of course seek independent, professional legal and financial advice.
