As Phuket Land Prices Rise So Does The Demand For Phuket Apartments

Although there is already a selection of Phuket apartments available, in my view the choice is limited at the high-end.

Buying an apartment or condominium is probably the simplest and easiest option available to foreigners looking to buy a property in Thailand. A foreigner can own the freehold of a condominium in Thailand because a condominium's title deed (Chanode) does not have any land registered to or associated with it. This in itself I am sure will help the growth in this market.

There are two developments that I know of worth watching, both at the southern end of the island.

The Mangosteen Suites Estate is under-development at Rawai by the owners of the Mangosteen Resort.

The Bel Air Panwa is under development at Cape Panwa by the Watson Property Group from Perth, Australia.

I will of course add new Phuket Apartments as I get to learn of them.
